Meeting the Team_SCA at Volvo Ocean Race 2014-2015

Wednesday 24th of September 2014

How will I start?

Well, I was invited by a really good friend of mine Monica (on picture below) and Team SCA to Alicante-Spain with other international bloggers to share this story from my point of view about the Team SCA on Volvo Ocean Race.

What does it mean TEAM SCA ?

In SCA Team there are 11 women on 1 boat on the route in eleven cities in eleven countries – Spain, Brazil, United Arab Emirates, China, New Zealand, United States, Portugal, France, Netherlands and Sweden – and will require the teams to cover 38,739 nautical miles – equivalent to 44,580 miles or 71,745 kilometres. The Race will start on October 4, 2014, the day of the first In-Port Race in Alicante, and finish with a final In-Port Race on June 27, 2015 in Gothenburg, the Swedish home of SCA.

The first day I got such a great present waiting for me in my room from @HellyHansen and @Team_SCA , the flight was little late, so when I  came to the Hotel I was already stressed and ready for a first meet up with the group of bloggers on the beach where it was amazing sunset.

I took some shots of the girls and surpassingly I was amazed by their posing, energy and flirting into the camera. You can see on the pictures how they were really good.

Than it was dinner time when we for the first time meet with the team and the energy of the girls was so good, you can feel that they are really enjoying in what they are doing and the energy was so contagious that it flash me into being the part of that team so much too!
